Jordan Farm chickens are humanely raised outdoors on pasture every day, without antibiotics, hormones or steroids. They are fed organic grains from a local farmer and never fed any animal by-products. You can truly taste the difference! Our bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts consist of a single breast attached to the rib bones with the skin still attached. The bone and skin give the meat extra flavor and juiciness.
We recommend roasting our bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts. Because of the bone, this chicken takes a bit longer to cook than a boneless breast. We prefer to roast it in a lower oven for a longer time to really concentrate the flavor, get tender meat, and make sure the skin is nice and crispy. Try 325° until the breast has an internal temperature of 160° next to the bone.
Each package of Jordan Farms bone-in, skin-on chicken breast contains one breast which weighs roughly a pound. This is enough to serve one to two people.
