The brisket is a large muscle cut from the lower portion of the cow’s shoulder. It is a mixture of fat and lean meat that requires a low and slow cook to become tender. 

We recommend cooking your brisket in a smoker or braising it in the oven before serving with your favorite vegetables and sides. This is a great cut that showcases the unique flavor of our grass fed beef. 

Our Red House Ranch briskets vary in size from 3.5 to 6 pounds. We recommend planning for a half pound of meat per person. Let us know in the order notes if you have a size preference for your brisket.
