Red House Ranch beef tallow has been rendered in small batches right here at the farm and is ready to use. It is not homogenized, bleached, or deodorized.
Our tallow is pure, delicious and naturally shelf stable with a high smoke point. It is the product of exclusively grass fed and grass finished Angus beef cattle.
Tallow is rendered from the hard beef fat located on the inside of the steer. Grass-fed beef tallow is one of the best fats for cooking because it has no trans fats and is full of essential nutrients. Tallow contains healthy fatty acids, CLAs and vitamins that will enhance whatever food is cooked with it.
We recommend using beef tallow as your cooking fat for searing steaks. The high smoke point means that it won’t burn, even when you are searing that perfect ribeye on high heat! It’s also a great cooking fat for roasting potatoes or other farm fresh vegetables.
