Bacon ends are cut from the end of a pork belly that has been made into bacon. They are made from our own pasture-raised pork that has been cured and smoked.
The ends are sliced into irregular slices but they're far too good to be thrown away! Bacon ends tend to be very lean and have extra smoke and bacon flavor with all the benefits of our sliced bacon.
We recommend using our bacon ends as an additional layer of savory flavor in soups such as potato soup, butternut squash soup, beans 'n greens, in hash, or in any recipe calling for bacon. Crispy diced bacon ends make a crispy salad topping and are a perfect addition to an omelette or quiche.
The bacon ends are perfect anywhere that you want bacon flavor but don't need full slices.
