Beef sirloin steak is a budget-friendly, lean source of omega fatty acids that is perfect for weeknight dinners!

Sirloin steaks are cut from where the loin meets the back leg, near the hip of the cow. They are a very lean steak with a medium grain that showcases the unique flavor of our 100% grass-fed and finished beef.

Because of their low fat content, sirloin steaks can be tough if not cooked properly. That said, all they need is a marinade to begin breaking down the muscle fibers and a hot and fast cook to medium rare or rare. We do not recommend cooking this cut past an internal temperature of 135° unless you are going to braise it, which is another option to get the meat nice and tender. 

Each Red House Ranch sirloin steak weighs about a pound which is enough meat for one to two people.
