Flat iron steak is cut from the the chuck or shoulder of our 100% grass fed and finished beef. It’s a flat steak that lies against the scapula. Each steak is highly marbled and full of protein and nutritious grass fed beef fat.
We recommend cooking flat iron steaks hot and fast on the grill or in a pan. Aim for an internal temperature of 130° and slice across the grain for a tender and flavorful bite of steak. We love to cook flat irons for a quick and easy weeknight meal alongside farm fresh vegetables.
Each package of Red House Ranch flat iron steak weighs about 1/2 pound and is enough for one - two servings.
