A classic roast, raised the way we believe lamb should be raised.
Our leg of lamb comes from our friends Lawrence and Liv of Outryder Farms in Interlaken, NY -- a nearby family farm we partner with, just about 30 minutes from Red House Ranch. Their lamb is grass-fed and grass-finished, raised on pastures free of agricultural chemicals, without antibiotics or vaccines.
Leg of lamb is one of those cuts that can turn a meal into an occasion without requiring complicated cooking. Roast it simply with garlic, herbs, olive oil, and salt, or give it a more Mediterranean treatment with rosemary, lemon, and plenty of garlic.
The meat is naturally rich and flavorful, with the distinctive character of lamb balanced by the clean, delicate flavor that comes from well-raised animals.
It's an excellent centerpiece for a Sunday dinner, a holiday meal, or any time you want to put something special on the table.
Raised on pasture. Grass-fed. Grass-finished.
These beautiful roasts weigh in at just over 3 lbs each.
